Todd Hankinson

A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dr. Todd Hankinson completed both medical school and neurosurgery residency training at the Neurological Institute of New York at Columbia University. He completed his pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Alabama. During medical school, Dr. Hankinson also completed a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Oxford. His primary clinical interest is the surgical management of central nervous system tumors in children, and his primary research interest is in pediatric brain tumors. He leads Advancing Treatment for Pediatric Craniopharyngioma, a 14-center consortium that studies Craniopharyngioma on a biological and clinical level. He is also an investigator with the Hydrocephalus Clinical Research Network, a 14-center network that is leading the way in clinical outcomes research for patients with Hydrocephalus.
